Exchange Group Accounts (EGAs)

A fully featured mailbox that can be accessed by multiple people. EGAs are useful for situations where more than one person handles the incoming messages and/or when messages are intended for a particular purpose rather than a particular person.  These "special mailboxes" are good to use as generic email accounts for Associations or programs - they allow email to be checked by several people and for access to be passed along to others when staff leave the Association or CCE.

These EGA generic email accounts can be used in a number of other services offered by Cornell, such as Zoom, Box, and Adobe Sign.

All CCE EGAs follow the naming convention: cce-mailbox-name@cornell.edu.
