Edit an Existing Event

In Salesforce an "Event" is called an "Event/Class", since these records are for both events and Outreach workshop classes.

To edit an existing event, first find the desired event in one of three ways:

  • Search for the class number or name in the search bar at the top of every page.  In the search results, click any blue link to open that event.
  • From the CAHRS Home page, all currently available events will be listed at the top right.  Click any blue link to open that event.
  • From the CAHRS Home page, in the left side menu, click the Events section to open it and select the desired view of events to locate the event and click to open.

Once the event is open on the screen edit in one of two ways:

  • To edit in a pop-up window, click the Edit button at upper right.
  • To edit in full-screen mode, click the pencil icon next to any editable field.

Be sure to save your edits before leaving the page.  Save by clicking the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
