To Turn Off Find My,
Go into the system preferences on your Mac, Click on your iCloud account if you are logged in.
Click on iCloud and select “See All”
Select “Find My Mac” and turn Off, in this shot it is already off. If its on it will prompt you for your applie ID and password to turn it off.
If you do not need icloud or if you are returning your Mac to ILR Tech Services, please go ahead and log off from the iCloud. Please be sure that “Find my” is off before doing this. It is recommended to not use icloud for Cornell related work. If you need cloud storage the preferred cloud would be box.
