Print from USB drive
To print from a USB drive on a Toshiba copier, insert a FAT32-formatted drive into the USB port.
Safety Note: When you see “USB device in use. Do not remove USB device”, do NOT unplug the USB.
Removing it during this message may damage data on the USB drive. Ensure the USB is not removed until the printing job is completely finished.
How to video: Printing from a USB Drive
- Plug the USB storage device into the USB port on the system.
- Wait a few seconds until “Found USB device” appears on the touch panel.
- Press the Print button on the control panel.
- From the drop-down box, select USB.
- If department codes are used: you may be prompted to enter your department password at this point.
- From the list of files on the USB drive, select the file you want to print.
- OPTIONAL: Adjust print settings
- Press Settings.
- Choose the options you want, such as:
- Number of sets (copies)
- Color mode
- Two-sided printing
- PDF print settings
- Paper size (JPEG files only)
- Press Print.
- Wait until USB is not “in use,” then remove USB.
File not visible issue: Try moving the file to the root of the USB drive (top level) and confirm the file type is supported.
