Description:
The process to send the Application PDF from Salesforce to Perceptive Content has had a number of names of the years, including Loop/Trigger Loop process and ImageNow process. Nintex DocGen package is used to create a full application PDF of all application items and send the PDF through an SFTP (secure file transfer) to the Electronic Student Record in Perceptive Content.
Processing the Application in Salesforce
There is a checkbox field on the Application labeled Trigger Loop. Check this box to automatically run the Loop process. There is a 1-2 minute delay from checking the Trigger Loop checkbox for the process to run.
The Loop process consists of the following:
- For Two-year Ithaca MBA, Metro, and Healthcare applications, the Trigger Loop will create a PDF of the Application and send it to the FTP.
- When the process is complete, the field ImageNow Last Updated will be populated with the date/time the process ran.
NOTE: If there is a protected File attached to the Application, this process will error and not create a PDF of the Application. You will need to manually update these.
- TIP: Edit the File name to start with Locked_ to have the Trigger Loop process ignore the locked File attachment.
If the Trigger Loop process runs successfully, the ImageNow Last Update field will populate with the date/time stamp, and a Task will be created stating the SFTP Loop process ran successfully.
Instructions for Individual Applications:
- Navigate to the Application and scroll down to Trigger Loop checkbox field.

- Edit the Trigger Loop field and check the box. Click Save.

- Once the process is complete, the Loop Process Ran checkbox will automatically be checked.
