Admissions Application Apply Community: What has changed?

The Admissions Application was moved from a Salesforce Visualforce site to a Salesforce Community May 2020.  Most of these changes will be invisible to the applicant.

What has changed for the Applicant

1. The URLs have changed.  Any inquiries to the old sites will be redirected to the corresponding new site.

2. Login and Self Registration pages are now two separate pages
   
   
3. Application will no longer get created during Self Registration/Sign up
   
   
4. Applicants will no longer choose a program during Self-Registration  ------ > Program of Interest will be BLANK if their first entry into Salesforce is during self-registration
   
   
5. Applicants can now apply for 1 program per program group (MBA, EMBA are each their own program groups)
   
   
6. No "Account Activation" emails (HOORAY!)

Changes invisible to the applicant

1. User Access is now managed on the Salesforce User record.  Please note: the Auth_LastLogin field will still be populated on the Lead record.
   
   
2. Attachments will now be found on the Files related list rather than Notes and Attachments.  Please note: all historical documents have been moved to the Files related list.
   
   
3. All Application layouts will now show the Files related list and the Notes and Attachments related list will no longer be visible.
   
   
4. Closed Loop: Creating an Account will keep them with a Lead Status of Prospect.  Once an application is created their Lead Status will be Nurturing and Lead Status Detail will be App Start.
