Still conducting university business? Some individuals may require full continuation of their NetID, such as those performing ongoing work for a university department, maintaining university business continuity during a gap in eligibility, or completing a graduate thesis. A Sponsored NetID can provide up to a year of access at the sponsor’s discretion. These accounts require approval to be activated. However, the sponsor may approve or deny requests as appropriate.

Need a little extra time to extract personal data? If neither of the above situations apply, you may request a one-week extension to access specific Cornell services (listed in the form below). This extension will begin immediately after the deprovisioning date provided to you in our email communications. Before completing this form, please review the steps to take before you lose access.
