Logging in After a Sandbox Refresh

Here are some guidelines on logging into the sandbox after a refresh.  

  1. Go to : https://test.salesforce.com/ and use your credentials to login.  Your user name will be in this format: netid@cornell.edu.tiger and the password is one you created.  If you enter the information and you see this:

Do not click forgot your password.Instead clear your cache or try logging in via an incognito tab.On chrome click the 3 dots at the upper right corner of the screen and select either New Incognito tab or History to clear your cache.

After you click history you will need to click it again which will open a new chrome tab.Select Clear Browsing data.

If you are using Firefox click on the three lines at the upper right corner of the screen and select either New Private Window

or History > Clear Recent History to clear your cache.

If you are unable to log in after these steps submit a request to ILR Administrative Applications

 

 

  1.  You will be prompted to add this account to the Salesforce Authenticator app on your mobile device.  Tap Add an Account.

  1.  Next you will receive a two word phrase:

  1. Enter the two word phrase in the field in your browser window on your computer and click connect:

  1. You will then be prompted to check the app on your mobile device one more time where you will click Connect.
