Using the ILR Classrooms
Touch Screen to begin. This will wake the system up.
Touch it again to get to the input screen.
Select the appropriate input from the selections at the top:
To use the room PC
To use the rack installed Blu-Ray/DVD player
To use HDMI for your device. (Usable for laptops, Macs and some tablets)
Some older laptops require VGA connectivity with Audio connector
Connect the USB cable to your laptop to add the room mics, cameras, and speakers to your laptop for Zoom video conference or other laptop audio video apps.
To mute any video input to the projection screen:
Press the Video Mute button
Audio Controls:
Mute ALL mic audio to Zoom Conference and lecture capture
Adjusting and Muting the Presenter mic
Press Arrows to raise or lower audio and mute button to mute.
Adjusting Sound from the PC, Laptop or other BYO device or Blu-Ray/DVD
Press Arrows to raise or lower audio and mute button to mute.
Ceiling mics: inputs room voice into system for use with Zoom Conferencing, Presenter, and Audience Assistive listening (Yellow is current selection)
When Ceiling Mics are ON
Green indicator on mic
When Ceiling Mics are OFF
Red indicator on mic
Cameras and Controls: There are two cameras installed. A presenter camera and an audience camera.
Select Camera Control
This will open the camera control screen where you can select/control either the Presenter or Audience camera

Select the camera preset buttons to move the camera to locations set by ILRCT. If you prefer a different view, use the arrows to move the camera left, right, up, down, and zoom in (+) and out (-). To reset to the original position just hit the top camera preset button.
Camera Auto Switching
Select ENABLE Camera Auto Switching to allow the system to determine the best camera view to use based on audio detected in the room. Note: This function is still in development as of August, 2019 and may not work properly.
Shutting Down
When you have completed use of the system, Please ensure to press the Power Off button to reset the system for the next class
You will receive a closing panel to indicate proper shut down has been initiated.
NOTE: When shutting the room down, please close any open applications. Do not shut down or power off the PC.
Troubleshooting:
- Is the appropriate input selected?
- If room PC selected and screen blank, is the PC on? Look inside the rack for a white light on the power button of the Dell PC.
- If laptop selected and no video, set display to duplicate (Windows+P or Command F1 on Macs). Is the HDMI or VGA cable securely connected?
- Trouble using laptop for Zoom, is the USB cable connected? Are the room cameras, mics, speakers selected?
- Room mics not working? Are they muted or turned off?
- No audio with your video? Is the source or system muted? Is the video player muted?
