- In Outlook options window, click on Advanced in the left menu.
- Scroll down to "File and browser preferences"
- By "Open hyperlinks from Outlook in", click on drop down menu and select "Default Browser"
- How to check and update Microsoft Office manually:
- Open Word
- Click on "File" in the upper left corner
- Click on "Account" in left menu
- If on a smaller screen, you may need to click "More" and then "Account"
- Under Product Information, click on "Update Options" box and click "Update Now"
- At this point, Microsoft will let you know if Office is up-to-date or will start downloading and installing updates.
- During updates, you will be prompted when you need to close out of any open Office programs.
