Description
A Cornell NetID password unlocks access to pay information, the ability to redirect it, and the information needed to file tax returns. These are tempting targets for criminals, who have stolen NetID passwords and used them to redirect pay to themselves and file fraudulent tax returns. Two-Step Login blocks criminals from using stolen Cornell passwords by requiring something they do not have — something only you possess.
Two-Step Login is mandatory to access all Cornell systems and services that use CUWebLogin. This includes services such as Workday, Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) Business Systems, Box, Zoom, LinkedIn Learning, and others.
