Suffolk - Verify RMM Agent

Verify RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) Agent 

This will verify that your workstation has the required RMM agent to remain compliant with CCE (Cornell Cooperative Extension) Suffolk security policies. 

Check agent installation (Windows) 

• Check the system tray on the bottom-right of your workstation 

• Verify the red Cornell shield icon 

• If missing, you can contact our IT Helpdesk for assistance

• Your computer may be re-named to comply with Cornell’s naming conventions "EXT-S-<SerialNumber> 

• The hostname change could affect configured SMB Network scanning 

• IT will reach out to you to verify workstation assignment for inventory management 

• Right-click for additional options such as submitting support tickets, Link to Cornell IT support and access to our Suffolk All Staff page.
