Description
This article describes how to set up and operate the HOVERAir X1 drone, including downloading the companion app, charging the battery, powering on the device, selecting a flight mode, launching and landing, and connecting to the app to manage recorded content.
Procedure
Step 1: Download the App
Scan the QR code below to download and install the HOVERAir X1 app.
Step 2: Charge the Battery
Note: Before using the HOVERAir X1 for the first time, you must fully charge the battery.

Step 3: Power On
Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds until you hear a voice prompt and the green status indicator turns on.
Step 4: Select a Flight Mode and Launch
Note: Do not stick any finger or object into the propeller area. Refer to the safety instruction manual and disclaimer at zzrobotics.com/support for more information.
Note: To stop the HOVERAir X1 mid-flight, grab it from the air and press the power button, or flip it 180° to stop the propellers.
- Open the HOVERAir X1 enclosure as shown below.
- Use the mode button to switch to the desired flight mode.
- Hold the HOVERAir X1 horizontally.
- Short-press the power button to start the launch sequence.
All propellers will start spinning. Release the HOVERAir X1 and it will take off and perform the selected flight path.
Step 5: Land the HOVERAir X1
When the HOVERAir X1 has finished its flight path, place your hand 20 cm below the device. The HOVERAir X1 will automatically land on your hand.
Step 6: Connect to the App
Open the HOVERAir X1 app to download your recorded content or adjust flight parameters.
