Google Workspace Account (G Suite)

Description

Google Workspace — formerly known as G Suite — includes Google's email, calendar, and collaboration services, and is available to all Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) staff. Activating a Google Workspace account is optional.

Note: Microsoft 365 remains the official email and calendaring system for CCE staff. Cornell does not offer integration between Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, and will not provide support for any third-party solutions.

Activating Your Google Workspace Account

To activate your Google Workspace account, follow the instructions provided by Cornell Information Technology (CIT):

Access Google Workspace at: http://gsuite.cornell.edu/

Available Features

Google Workspace includes the following features:

  • Gmail
  • Google Calendar
  • Google Docs
  • Google Drive
  • Google Sites

The following features are available by request:

  • Google Analytics
  • Google Custom Search
  • Google Search Console

Note: Google Classroom is not available.
