Description
The following steps will guide you through the process of verifying your personal productivity computer's CrashPlan (formerly Code42) backup status. Follow the directions below from the computer you wish to verify the backup status of.
If you'd like to verify the backup status of anything other than a personal productivity computer, such as a shared computer, or one that is connected to research equipment, please submit a support request and CALS OIT can help you.
Procedure
macOS
- Open a Finder window and browse to the Applications folder.
- Launch the CrashPlan application and login when prompted.
- You're now presented with the name of your computer and the next and last scheduled backup time.
Windows
- Click on the Start Menu and type in CrashPlan.
- Click on CrashPlan from the search results.
- You're now presented with the name of your computer and the next and last scheduled backup time.
