Description
CALS OIT uses computer names as unique identifiers. Knowing your computer name will ensure we are talking about the same asset, provide information about warranty status, and identify your computer on the network.
NOTE: Computer names in CALS take the form of "AG-DEPT-SERIALNUMBER". For Dell computers the serial number is the "Service Tag", for all other computer manufacturers it will be the last 7 digits of the serial number.
