Steps

  1. Open Finder from the Dock at the bottom of your screen.
  2. In the Finder sidebar, click Applications.
  3. Locate and open Self Service.
  4. In the Self-Service search bar, type Temporary Admin Access.
  5. Click the Elevate button.
  6. Wait for the pop-up notification confirming that temporary administrator rights have been granted for 30 minutes.
  7. Click OK to dismiss the notification.

Tips

 

Need more time? If you still require administrator access after the 30-minute window expires, you can repeat this process to request another session.
