Mac Temporary Admin Access

Step-by-step instructions for requesting temporary administrator access on a JCB-managed Mac using Self Service.
Steps
- Open Finder from the Dock at the bottom of your screen.
- In the Finder sidebar, click Applications.
- Locate and open Self Service.
- In the Self-Service search bar, type Temporary Admin Access.
- Click the Elevate button.
- Wait for the pop-up notification confirming that temporary administrator rights have been granted for 30 minutes.
- Click OK to dismiss the notification.
Tips
Need more time? If you still require administrator access after the 30-minute window expires, you can repeat this process to request another session.
