About Delphi
Delphi is the Statler Hotel sales and event management system, built on Salesforce. The Sales team uses it for group bookings, catering contracts, event planning, and meeting room reservations, and the Reservations team also works in Delphi. You may hear it called "Delphi," "the Sales System," or "the Catering System." You sign in with your Cornell NetID.
Who to contact
- Licenses and business questions: the Director of Sales and Catering, who is the Property Admin for Delphi.
- Cannot get in, Delphi is slow, or you see errors: log a ticket with the IT help desk and mention Delphi in your message (see "Still need help?" below).
- A Delphi feature is not working - for example, event setup or catering features: the vendor, Amadeus, at hospitality.support@amadeus.com, or log a ticket with the IT help desk and mention Delphi.
Before you contact anyone
- Can you not get in at all, or are you in but seeing a problem?
- If you are in: is it Delphi in general (signing in, slowness, errors) or one feature (events, catering)?
- Whether other Delphi users have the same problem.
If Delphi will not load or sign in - try these first
- Open a private or incognito browser window and try to sign in again.
- Clear the browser cache and cookies, then try again.
- Turn off all browser extensions, then try again.
- Try a different browser - Chrome, Edge, or Firefox.
- Confirm you have a working internet connection.
- Fully close and restart the browser, then try again.
- Ask whether other users are seeing the same problem. If several people are affected at once, it is more likely a platform or network issue than a problem with one person or PC. Log a ticket with the IT help desk.
- Confirm you are using the correct web address or bookmark.
For a step-by-step guide to signing in, see Log in to Salesforce using Single Sign On.
Common questions
- I am new and cannot get into Delphi. Access takes two steps: IT gives you sign-in access, and the Director of Sales and Catering assigns you a Delphi license. Log a ticket with the IT help desk, and check with the Director of Sales and Catering about your license.
- I was given access but still cannot work in Delphi. You probably do not have a license yet. Contact the Director of Sales and Catering.
- Several Delphi users have the same problem at once. Log a ticket with the IT help desk.
- A settings change I asked for cannot be made. Some Delphi settings can only be changed by the vendor, Amadeus.
- I am working on an Event Captain Report. See Event Captain Report - User Documentation.
Still need help?
The order is: the Director of Sales and Catering, then the IT help desk (log a ticket and mention Delphi) or the vendor (Amadeus), then the Hotel System Manager.
Always log a ticket with the IT help desk first (itrequests@business.cornell.edu). If the situation is critical or urgent, you can then contact the Hotel System Manager directly, after you have submitted the ticket. Your manager or department director knows how to reach the Hotel System Manager and is empowered to do so based on their judgment.
Still need help? Contact the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business Helpdesk at itrequests@business.cornell.edu.
