Steps to verify that Crashplan backup is working properly. Note: Crashplan and Code42 are the same product.
Go into finder under applications, launch crashplan.

If prompted for a server name enter; Clients.US2.Crashplan.Com

Login with your netid and two step authentication

​​​​​​If prompted select ; Add A New Device

In the Status page, A green checkmark means the computer has been backed up and is working properly

Or Machine is actively backing up and working properly

A quick way to check on its status is looking at the top right of your Mac menu and clicking on the "C" icon
