Description
Most staff at CCE who work with PDFs can do everything they need using the free Adobe Acrobat Reader and Office365 software that is provided to all CCE employees.

To request an Adobe license, contact your regional IT helpdesk at http://helpdesk.cce.cornell.edu. Be sure to include your business need for the license.

- How do I check if I already have an Adobe Acrobat or Creative Cloud license?
- Go to https://account.adobe.com/
- Log in using your Cornell e-mail address (you will then be prompted to sign in using your Cornell NetID credentials)
- Under your plan, it will show what software is included in your Adobe license (if any)
- How can I request an Adobe license?
- Contact your regional IT helpdesk at http://helpdesk.cce.cornell.edu. Be sure to include your business need for the license.
Examples:
- I need to create PDF fillable forms with Adobe Acrobat.
- I need to edit videos and photos with Adobe Premiere and Photoshop.
- How do I sign into Adobe Acrobat Pro?
- I verified that I have an Adobe license but I cannot use the Pro features and/or it's showing a message to try Acrobat Pro.
- Verify which version of Adobe Acrobat is installed (see question below). If you have Adobe Reader installed, contact your regional IT helpdesk for assistance.
- If you have Acrobat Pro installed, verify that you are signed in with your Cornell e-mail account.
- Open Adobe Acrobat and click on the profile icon in the upper right hand corner.
- If the e-mail address is NOT your Cornell e-mail, click on Sign Out.
- Open Adobe Acrobat and sign in with your Cornell e-mail (see question above on how to do this).
