Finding Your Network Details

When troubleshooting network connectivity or access to network resources, the network details of your computer are important to know.

Procedure

Find Your IP Address

• To find your IP address, go to: whatismyipaddress.com
• To find your computer name (hostname) click “Additional IP Details” on the above page or go to: displaymyhostname.com

Find Your MAC Address

To find your MAC address (a unique address for every network device, it is not specific to Mac computers) refer to:
