Installing Printers on Cornell Owned Computers

Description

CALS OIT uses a managed printer solution called PrinterLogic to manage and deploy printers across CALS.

Within Printer Logic, printers are grouped together alphabetically by building name to make them easy to find.  If you should ever have a need to physically move a printer, please involve CALS OIT by submitting a help request.  This ensures CALS Printer Logic inventory is accurate and easily searchable.

Our printer naming convention is as follows:

BuildingRoom#-Manufacturer-MODEL

For example, a Color Laserjet 3600 located in 918 Bradfield Hall would appear as follows within PrinterLogic:

Bradfield918-HP-CLJ3600
