Box: Set Email Notifications

Choose which Box activity, such as uploads, comments or deletions, sends you an email.

You can choose which Box activity sends you an email. This works for folders you own and for folders you've joined as a collaborator.

Events you can be notified about

• Downloads
• Uploads
• Comments (on by default for folders you own)
• Previews
• Deletes (on by default for folders you own)

Change your notification settings

1. Go to cornell.app.box.com and sign in.
2. In the upper-right corner, click the Cornell University button.
   
3. Click Account Settings.
   
4. Click the Notifications tab.
5. Uncheck the events you don't want emails for. For example, in the In Items I've Joined column, uncheck Uploads to stop emails when someone uploads to a folder you collaborate on. To turn off all notifications for those folders, uncheck every box in that column.
   
6. Click Save Changes in the upper-right corner.
