When you are setting up a Linvio Event, there is a field on the Event called Apply App Fee Waiver. Check this box if the event provides applicants an Application Fee Waiver.
There is automation that will automatically apply the app fee waiver to qualified applicants for the following programs:
- Cornell MBA
- Executive MBA NYC
- Executive MBA/MS in Healthcare Leadership
Qualified applicants are defined as:
- having an existing In Progress application to the program hosting the event, with the event occurring in the same apply year as the application, or
- an applicant that applies for the program hosting the event within the same apply year as the event.
After an Attendee is marked as Attended for the event with the app fee waiver, automation will then apply the app fee waiver and send the Attendee an email notifying them of the app fee waiver. This may take up to 24 hours after the Attendee record is marked as Attended.
If the Attendee does not have a current In Progress application for the program that hosted the event, then the automation stores the app fee waiver (on the Contact or Lead associated with the Attendee record) until an application is created for that program. Once the Application is created, the app fee waiver will be automatically applied to the application.
- 'Current In Progress application' is defined as an application created within the same apply year as the event where the application fee was waived.
- The applicant will not receive an additional email after the app fee waiver is applied to the application.
