Step-by-step guide

You have several options for reminders.  You can use one or all of these, depending on your preferences.

Pop-up Reminders

If you are logged into Salesforce on a daily basis, pop-up reminders can be used to remind you every day at a specific time about tasks you have due.  These are on by default but you can also make changes.

  1. Select your user icon in the upper right hand corner of the Salesforce application.  Then click or choose Settings.
  2. On the menu on the left, Select Calendars & Reminders > Activity Reminders
  3. You have many options here: (In this example, Pop-up Reminders will appear every day at 8:00am for any tasks (those activities without a time associated with them).

Home Page "Today's Tasks" widget

Another option is to use your home page as a central hub to see what Tasks you have due Today.

  1. Click on the Home Tab from any app within Salesforce.
  2. Every home page can be customized to a specific user, but the default home page is shown below.  The Today's Task widget displays a task that is due today.
