Test Scores are handled in a custom object called Test Score. There is now automation that will update read-only fields on the Admissions Application with the highest score of each type from the associated Test Score records. This is the case for Test Score records created by Salesforce users and applicants.
- GMAT (10th Edition): Highest GMAT Exam (10th Edition) Total
- GMAT (Focus Edition): Highest GMAT Exam (Focus) Total Raw, GMAT Exam (Focus) Total Percentile
- GRE: Highest GMAT Total Equivalent, GRE Quant Percentile, GRE Verbal Percentile
When a Test Score record of type GRE or GMAT (10th edition and focus edition) is created, or if the score/percentage for either is updated on an existing Test Score record, automation checks if the triggering test score is higher than what is on the Application (or if the Application fields are blank), and will update the Application with the higher test score record values.
If the highest Test Score record is deleted, automation will check if other Test Score records of the same test type exist. If yes, then the application record will update with the highest remaining Test Score of the same test type as the one deleted. If not, then the Application fields will be blanked out.
Notes
- Test Score records are still the source of truth for applicant test scores.
- The Application test score fields are not editable from the Application record - they are only populated by automation to avoid data issues.
- The Application test score fields are not changed if a Test Score record with blank scores is created.
