How to Sign In to Adobe Acrobat

Summary

Check which account Adobe Acrobat is signed in to, and sign in with your Cornell Adobe account if it is signed out.

Body

Before you begin

  • Adobe Acrobat installed on your JCB computer.
  • Your Cornell email address.
  • Your Adobe Acrobat password (this is separate from your Cornell NetID password; see the note below).

Steps

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat.
  2. In the top-right of the application, click the account icon (just to the right of the bell icon).
  3. Check that Acrobat is signed in under your Cornell email address.
  4. If it is signed out, click Sign In and enter your Cornell email address, then your Adobe Acrobat password.

Expected result

The account menu shows your name and your Cornell email address, confirming you are signed in to Adobe Acrobat.

Troubleshooting

Before you report a problem, try these quick checks:

  • Wrong account or no account shown: open the account menu; if it shows a non-Cornell account or none, choose Sign Out, then sign back in with your Cornell email address.
  • Forgot your password: on the sign-in screen, click Reset Password and follow the steps to create a new one.

Your Adobe Acrobat password is separate from your Cornell NetID password. It is whatever you set when your Adobe account was created.
