Follow these steps to update your time zone setting in Outlook. You set it in Outlook on the web, and because the setting lives in your Microsoft 365 account, the change also applies to your Outlook desktop and mobile apps. Ithaca, NY users should select Eastern Time.
Steps
- Go to https://outlook.office.com/.
- Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen to open Settings.
- Select Calendar.
- Select your time zone.
- 📍 Ithaca, NY users: select
(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada).
Expected result
Your Outlook calendar and meeting times now display in the selected time zone across Outlook on the web, desktop, and mobile.
