All TV and display issues at the Statler Hotel should be reported through the HotSOS platform to Maintenance/Facilities. Use this guide to report the issue correctly so it reaches the right team.

How to Report a Display Issue

 

  1. Log in to HotSOS using your Statler Hotel credentials.
  2. Submit a new work order describing the issue. Include:
    - The room number or location of the affected display
    - A brief description of the problem (e.g., "TV won't connect to DirecTV," "blank screen," "no signal")
  3. Facilities will respond and assess the issue on-site.

What Happens Next

 

  • If the issue is a standard TV problem (e.g., wrong input, remote not working, loose cable), Facilities will resolve it directly.
  • If the issue is not a standard TV problem (e.g., DirecTV signal outage, AV equipment failure, infrastructure issue), Facilities will escalate to the IT/AV team on your behalf.

 

⚠️ Please do not contact IT directly for display issues. Routing through HotSOS ensures the right team is notified and response times are faster.
