Connecting to the JCB Shared Drive from an Apple computer

Instructions for users to connect to the JCB Shared Drive via the Jamf Self Service Application.

1. If you are currently not on campus, please connect to the JCB VPN as this is a requirement for off campus connections to the JCB Shared Drive. 
2. Open the Self Service application.
3. Look for “Connect to JCB Shared Drive” and click Connect.

4. Click Connect on the next screen after you’ve read over the information provided.
5. If prompted with “You are attempting to connect to the server…”, click Connect.

 

6. When prompted for your credentials, please enter the following:
   1. Select Registered User
   2. Enter your Cornell NetID
   3. Enter your Cornell Password
   4. Check the box next to “Remember this password in my keychain”. (This will store the login credentials on your computer so you will not need to click through these boxes every time you connect to the shared drive.)
   5. Click Connect 

 

7. You should now be connected to the JCB Shared Drive. Use the Finder application to navigate to your desired file location.
