1. Open Cisco AnyConnect and, if needed, enter cuvpn.cuvpn.cornell.edu and click Connect

2. The group should be Two-Step Login. The username is your NetID@JCB-VPN. The password is your NetID password. In the DUO Passcode box, type "push" in all lowercase to send a push notification to your device with the DUO app, OR type "phone" in all lowercase to have DUO call your registered device.

3. Click OK, then complete verification through DUO. Once that is done, a message should appear in the lower right of the screen regarding your connection.
4. Once connected to the VPN, stay connected approximately 1 hour for Windows/Office to reactivate automatically.
5. To check if Windows reactivated, open File Explorer, right-click This PC and go to Properties.

6. At the bottom, under the Windows Activation section, you will see whether or not Windows is active.

7. Connection to the VPN should reactivate both Windows and/or Office 2019.
8. To verify Office is activated, open any Office application such as Excel or Outlook and verify that you aren't prompted to activate. If necessary, sign-in with your CU email address and password.
