Lumivero @Risk Download Instructions

Overview

This guide covers downloading the Lumivero @Risk software and its license key to a Windows computer. The license key is needed later, during installation.

Prerequisites

• A Windows computer.
• A Cornell NetID, if the download page prompts for sign-in (whether sign-in is required is not recorded).
• Permission to save files to the computer.
• A place to paste the license key temporarily, such as a text editor (Notepad), until installation.

Steps

1. Open a web browser and go to the @Risk software download page:

   https://apps.business.cornell.edu/risk_software/
   

   

2. Click Download Software to save the installer to the Windows computer.

   

3. Click Download Key.

   

4. Highlight the license key and copy it.

   

5. Paste the key into a text editor or keep it available, so it can be entered when running the installer.

Verification

1. Open the Downloads folder (or the browser's configured download location) and confirm the @Risk installer file is present. The installer file name and version are not recorded.
2. Confirm the license key is copied or saved and is readable in full.

If both are in place, the download is complete. Continue with the @Risk installation instructions.
