Set Email Notifications in Box

The Email Notifications section under Account Settings is where you define which Box events you get notified for. For both folders you own and folders you've joined (in which you are a collaborator), you can get notified for:

  • Downloads
  • Uploads
  • Comments (the default is selected for folders you own)
  • Previews
  • Deletes (the default is selected for folders you own)

 

  1. Go to https://cornell.app.box.com/
  1. In the upper right corner, click on the Cornell University button

  1. Click Account Settings

  1. Click Notifications
  2. Under “Notifications” in the “In Items I’ve Joined” column, uncheck the events you want to disable notifications for.  For example, uncheck “Uploads” if you wish to disable  email notifications when a file is uploaded to a folder you are collaborating on. To disable all notifications on folders you are collaborating on, uncheck all boxes under the "In Items I've Joined" column.

 

  1. Click Save Changes in the upper right hand corner.
