CU Print Mac Instructions

**In order to Install the PaperCut software and print on campus you will need to be connected to either the eduroam or RedRover wireless networks

1.  Install PaperCut Software

  • Download and Install the PaperCut software found here - https://downloads.cornell.edu/cuprint/pc-print-deploy-client[printing.cornell.edu].dmg
  • Once PaperCut is successfully installed you will need to restart your Mac
  • After you've restarted and logged back in you will be prompted to log into CU Print(It might take a few moments for the prompt to appear)
     
  • Log in with your Cornell email address and NetID password
  • Once signed in you should see CU_Print-BW and CU_Print-Color showing as installing

     
  • Once both printers show as Installed the installation process is complete

2. How To Print

  • Print the document and select either CU_Print-BW or CU_Print-Color depending on if your document needs to be printed in Black & White or Color
  • Your first time printing you likely will get a "Hold for Authentication" pop up

     
  • If so, select the  icon on the pop up
  • A login screen will appear.  In the Name field, enter your NetID.  In the Password field, enter your NetID Password.  Select "Remember this password in my keychain" and click OK

     
  • Once your job goes through, walk up to either a Black & White or Color printer depending on your print job, and swipe your Student ID at the built-in swipe reader to release your print job. **Once you select print from your computer, you will have 2 hours to swipe your Student ID to print, otherwise your print job will be cancelled and you will not be charged.
