Overview
This article explains how to make a recording downloadable in VOD and then download it. Before a recording can be downloaded, you need to enable the download formats you want on its Edit page.
Cornell Video on Demand (VOD) is Cornell's Kaltura-based video service at vod.video.cornell.edu. Zoom cloud recordings and uploaded videos appear under My Media.
Prerequisites
- A Cornell NetID and password.
- A recording in your VOD My Media list (you must be its owner or have edit rights).
Enable and Download
- Go to vod.video.cornell.edu.
- Click the My Media tab.

- Sign in with your Cornell NetID and password.
- Click the title of the video you wish to download.
- Click the Actions drop-down and select Edit.
- Go to the Downloads tab.
- Select Source and HD/1080.

- Click Save. A blue confirmation bar appears across the top of the page.
- Click Go To Media.
- Click Download underneath your video and choose the format to download.

Note: Source is the original file as recorded or uploaded. HD/1080 is a converted copy that plays on most devices.
