Copy an Event

It's sometimes much more convenient to copy an event. This saves time, especially with for events with many custom field mappings.

Steps

1. Choose an event similar to yours on the Event Calendar or Special Events tab. It's highly recommended that you choose one with the same record type. If you are unsure which record type your event should be, refer to this article.
2. Click Copy Event in the Quick Actions menu.
   
   
   Alternatively, scroll all the way down under the Details tab to Custom Links and click Copy This Event.
   
   
   
3. Fill in the fields however you'd like. Click Copy.
   
   
   
4. Edit the fields for your new event. See this article for a refresher.
