Common Troubleshooting Steps:
If you have trouble with the Outlook Integration:
- Ensure that your Outlook is on the latest version (if using an Outlook desktop app).
- Try using the Outlook Integration in Outlook on the web.
- Check for updates to your computer.
- Log out of the Outlook Integration and log back in.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Outlook Integration.
If you are already connected to a Salesforce org other than the College of Business you will need to log out of the current org so that you can log into the College of Business Salesforce org. To do so, click on the cloud, click on your profile picture, and then click Log Out.
- Check whether the add-in appears in Outlook on the web. Go to Outlook on the web, sign in, and open any single email in your inbox. Look for the small blue Salesforce cloud. If you see it on the web but not in desktop Outlook, the problem is with desktop Outlook: update and restart it, and use Outlook on the web in the meantime. If you don't see it anywhere, you may not have been added to the access group yet: submit a ticket.
- Draft emails can't be logged. Send the email first, then log it to Salesforce from your Sent folder.
- Still not working? submit a ticket. IT may run an online repair of Microsoft Office on your computer.
