Library Forum Steering Committee Staff Award for Core Values

Body

Each Fall, the Library Forum Steering Committee will give the Staff Award for Core Values to one individual or team who demonstrates exemplary commitment to the University’s core values, as reflected in their contribution to the library.

Nominees and their work should be outstandingly representative of one or more of the following Cornell University Core Values:

  • Purposeful Discovery
  • Free and Open Inquiry and Expression
  • A Community of Belonging
  • Exploration Across Boundaries
  • Changing Lives Through Public Engagement
  • Respect for the Natural Environment.

The nominees may exemplify these values in several areas: outstanding service, special projects, collaboration, support of colleagues, advocacy for diversity and inclusion, and beyond. This is a chance to tangibly acknowledge your colleagues who truly live these values and make the Cornell University Library a better place.

See our FAQ's for additional information.
