Admin Tips: Validation in DIG

The Explorance Data Integrity Gateway tool is relatively intuitive but here are the main steps that will take you through reviewing your list of courses and providing feedback on if a corrections are needed.

Steps for Publishing after Review:

  1. Open the direct link provided by the SETs Team to access the Sandbox homepage. Click Task Tab or view in Active Tasks.
  2. Click on View.
  3. Review the list of courses.
  4. Select row(s) then Bulk Action.
  5. From the list, click on a row you want to update the validation status for:
    1. Select Approve, or
    2. Select In Progress if you have started to review the line but you’re not done, or
    3. Select Change Requested. then enter Reason for Change. 
    4. Click Add Field for multiple row edits.
    5. When done, Click Apply then confirm "Yes, I'm Sure".
  6. Select Bulk Action selection box to select all rows across pages. Then select Publish from the bulk list.
  7. Confirm your selection, then close out to return Home Screen.

The SETs Team will see that you’ve Published your list and will contact you if additional information is requested.

 

Additional Feature Tips

Import/Export Data - A separate tab view of exportable files.

Advanced filters - Options to filter down the list of courses based on available criteria.

Manage Columns - The ability to move the order of unlocked columns and remove/add columns from view.

Reset Display Settings - The column order will be reset to the original order.
