General Information

How does it work?

After authenticating, the system will show your class schedule and you'll be able to select the dates you missed –– as well as future dates if necessary. You will also need to state the reason for your absence. Approval to view class recordings is at the instructor's discretion, and the decision of the instructor is final. Students who receive a class recording link, do so on the condition they will not share it with anyone else. Note: Students who have approved accommodations should not use this request system and contact the Dean of Students Office for more information.

What is recorded?

The classroom recording system captures computer content (either from the room PC or laptop), as well as instructor video and audio. Student engagement is also captured via microphones in the classrooms.

What if my absence is more than one day?

Students who are ill or have another valid reason for missing class are encouraged to contact the instructor directly and are required to notify the Dean of Students or the Assistant Dean for Graduate Legal Studies, depending on the student's degree program, if more than three days are missed.
