Pre-exam Checklist

Below is a list of items to check-off before your exam(s) in Exam4.

  • Attend one of the many scheduled Tech Checks.
  • Make sure you OS is supported.  The current supported versions can be found here: https://www.exam4.com/support/article/1
  • Make sure you are connected to Eduroam.  Exam4 may not function properly if you are connected to another wireless network.
  • Use an English version of Windows or macOS.  There are known issues with exams becoming corrupt when they are submitted from non-English versions of operating system and this has been confirmed with Exam4.
  • Make sure that you have updated to the latest version of Exam4.  If last minutes updates to the application have been made, a special note will be sent out to update Exam4.
  • Make sure that you take the assigned practice exam prior to your first final.  Even if you have used Exam4 before, changes to the application have likely been made that might have an impact on your personal computer.
  • Reach out the Registrar's office in advance of your final if you have questions or concerns.  Remember, when final exams are underway staff will be busy helping everyone taking finals.
