PrinterLogic on Cornell-owned Windows Computer

PrinterLogic allows you to install printers with a few clicks. This self-help document will help you get started adding a printer and setting a default printer.

Adding a Printer

1.  Log on to a Cornell University computer.

2. Open a browser (Chrome is recommended) and go to the site: culaw.printercloud.com

3.  If this is your first time using PrinterLogic, you will be prompted to install an extension for your browser.

4.  Follow the on-screen prompts in your web browser to enable the extension.  You should see one of two prompts:

  • "Install Extension" and then click "Add to Chrome" or
  • "Install Extension" and then "This item has been disabled in Chrome. Enable this item" (then click "Enable this item" to activate it)

5.  Return to the culaw.printercloud.com site and refresh the page.

6.  Click on the folder for your building and then your floor. Scroll down in the list of printers for that area and click on your desired printer to begin installation.

7.  Confirm the installation by clicking the Yes button. If you want this to be your default printer, click the Set as default printer box.

8.  After the installation is complete, click the OK button.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

PrinterLogic will not work with Microsoft Edge. If Edge is your default browser, launch Google Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer instead (Chrome is recommended)

If you install a printer by mistake, you can go into your printers & scanners settings and remove it.

If you are on wireless, you will need to be on Eduroam.

If you are offsite, you will need to be logged into the Law School VPN.

If you are unable to install the printer you need or encounter problems with these instructions, please contact the Law School Helpdesk.
